It is a replacement woofer intended for use in the JBL AM 7215 cabinet as well as the JBL SRX 715 and SRX 725. JBL specifications rate this speaker at 800 Watts continuous, 1600 Watts program and 3200 Watts peak at a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. It has a rear depth of 8.25 inches and only weighs 15 lbs. This product is primarily found in sound reinforcement and PA speaker systems. It should not be confused with a speaker built and intended for a bass guitar system.
