Hosa GSK-112 Speakon Adaptor  

The Hosa GSK-112 is a 1/4 inch female to speakon adaptor with a length of 6 inches. It is built with 12 gauge wire to handle larger amounts of power and is compatible with standard speaker wire guages of 16/2, 14/2, and 12/2. Care should be taken in adapting wire guages of 10/2 and larger since this would be a step down and smaller guage wire like 18/2 since this would be a step up. You would never convert shielded wire like microphone cable or the returns of a standard snake to speaker level regardless of the connector. This product adapts a standard male TS 1/4 inch plug to a female cable mount speakon. This item can be used coming out of a power amplifier that has speakons or going into a speaker cabinet that has speakons.
