Microphone Wire

To give you an idea of what we would use different wires for, the Belden Shielded 2200 cable is perfect for fabricating your own snakes or in wall wiring short distances.

The Rapco J-Cable is what we use for microphones in a studio setting, where the cables wont be trampled that often but offer great shielding.

For the most extreme conditions, always use Belden 8412 cable, the extra heavy duty nickel plated copper braiding will protect this cable from the most extreme concert conditions. This heavy duty plating even causes our blades to dull very quickly when we make custom cables (from stripping the jacket).
